Man Fern or Tasmanian Tree Fern (Dicksonia antarctica) is evergreen and can grow up to 15 metres in height,
but usually 4.5 to 5 metres.

Although this is a picture of a Tasmanian rainforest, because it is dark & mysterious, it reminds me of the movie Apocalypse Now. Cruising down the river in Cambodia during the Vietnam War and wondering what may emerge from the jungle.

The information I received about this wreck, from a volunteer at the George Town Pilot Station, is that it is from the tug boat Cape Forestier.

Between 1833 and 1837 around 1000 burials took place here, of convicts and staff from the Port Arthur penal colony.
