hidden in a dark place, it is my little secret!

It was a cold overcast winters day, when I was walking through this beautiful, peaceful rainforest...then the clouds shifted, leaving a clear blue sky
and highlighting these very tall gum trees and magnificent Man Ferns.
All searching for a bit of that sun.

It has been a great winter in Deloraine, Tasmania, this year. Some cold frosty nights and foggy mornings (and one very wild storm) but many days have cleared to be a beautiful sunny day. Spring has arrived early.

The furry seed pods open in Spring, to produce this magnificent flower....this tree blooms for approximately 6 weeks.
